Our reputation for being able to solve the most difficult seating problems and our dedication to provide unrivalled product and service has led to our products being used by some of the world's top sportsmen and women including 11 world Champions who have used PRO-SEAT products in motor sport including: Mario Andretti, Michael Andretti, Jacques Villeneuve, Damon Hill, Colin Macrae, Peter Greene, Nigel Mansell and 2000 Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher. Other clients include Class 1 Offshore Powerboat teams, including 1998 World and European Champions Bijorn Gjelsten and Steve Curtis. Our products are now used by Olympic athletes including GB rower Alison Mowbray, and Paralympic sailor Mike Browne.
Construction: This is achieved by using a pliable bag which contains special spherical styrene beads to which is added a two-part resin. This is mixed in the bag and then vacuum molded to the client. This allows us to make sure that you are in the correct seating position for you activity (sailing) with respect to height, fore / aft position. We can fixate the pelvis, check angles and ensure that you are in the optimum seating position for your sailing. This gives the user both confidence and performance. The seat when fully cured is trimmed and laminated with a waterproof cover. We also supply a simple lap strap manufactured from marine grade stainless steel fittings with a 'quick-release' buckle as been seen in the photos.
