Regatta Planner
Three tools built on the racing calendar.
Every regatta of the season on one map, grouped by how close together they are, so the shape of a season is visible while it is still being planned. Date clashes are weighted: two events that split one fleet matter, two on opposite sides of the world do not. The exception is a major championship, which draws the fleet wherever it is held.
Set your home port and how far you are willing to travel, and see every regatta within reach. Tick the ones you fancy to build your own season, then take it away as a calendar file, a spreadsheet or a printed sheet.
National Class Associations use this to send the ICA the regattas they want on the international calendar. Nothing is published automatically: your association confirms you, the ICA secretary approves the events, and the webmaster adds them to the calendar.
Dark dots are inside your radius, pale ones beyond it. Stars are major events. Click anywhere on the map to move your home port.
Within reach
Set your home port above, or click the map, to see which regattas are in reach.
My season
Nothing chosen yet. Tick a regatta to build your season.
Distances are straight lines between venues, not travel times. Positions marked approx location are events the calendar lists by country only, placed at a representative point in that country. That is near enough to group by, but it is not a venue. The planner reads the racing calendar directly, so anything added there appears here at once.
